around the world

With a previous job I’ve had the privilege to visit many countries, so where possible I’ve taken advantage to find some time and get some great photos.

The trip to CAMBODIA was amazing, a very worthy World Heritage site. At the time the restoration work was only to ensure the integrity of the structures whilst retaining the relic appeal of this magnificent site. The NORWAY scenery was absolutely stunning, travelling by car and boat there were so many beautiful views to capture. The WORLD’S first IRON BRIDGE in Telford, Shropshire built by ABRAHAM DARBY III, was said to be the start of the Industrial Revolution. The UNESCO World Heritage site of the 18km PONTCYSYLLTE Aqueduct & Canal by THOMAS TELFORD standing 39m above the River Dee is quite a feat of engineering for its time. You can walk across on a narrow path one side! Not for the faint hearted!!
